About The Position

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking an Excavator Operator for the 225151 - PR3 Pumping & Conveyance Volume 4 - Pipelines project in Arcadia, Florida. The role operates an excavator at a jobsite to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building-type structures. Operators may also assist with other jobsite duties as needed. Requirements

Ability to comply with safety policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to help ensure projects are completed properly.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions when required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Three to five years of operating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate an excavator to dig, excavate, and move or transport dirt, rocks, and other aggregate materials.
Know operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
Oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments to equipment as needed.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
Assist with other related jobsite duties as required.
