EVS Technician - Medical Office Building EVS
About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. The role cleans and maintains areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, and may require travel from one facility to another. The technician responds to and initiates communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. This position is based at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, in the EVS Medical Office Buildings department. The scheduled weekly hours are 25, with a work schedule of 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the evening shift.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required.
- Able to work alone; working after hours is frequently required.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safety work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate awareness of safety protocols, including Materials Safety Data Sheets and Personal Protective Equipment.
- Education is not required.
