About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves cleaning and maintaining areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities. The technician responds to and initiates communication using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone and after hours frequently.
- Able to stand and walk continually.
- Observe safety standards and use safety work techniques at all times.
- Demonstrate the ability to advocate for and protect patients’ health, safety, and rights.
- Show awareness of safety protocols involving Material Safety Data Sheets and personal protective equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
