About The Position
The EVS Technician cleans and services building areas according to established procedures. The role moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around hospital departments and performs environmental services duties to keep the hospital neat, orderly, and sanitary. The scheduled shift is evenings, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The position is per diem and includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
Requirements
- No required license, certification, or education is specified.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Load the service cart with appropriate materials and supplies for the assigned area.
- Operate and clean various types of mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment.
- Clean operating suites using germicidal cleaning solutions and arrange furniture and equipment.
- Clean patient rooms while observing isolation techniques and ensuring a safe, clean environment.
- Clean assigned areas, including walls, doors, ceilings, fixtures, and windows.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies around hospital departments.
