About The Position

Under the supervision of the EVS shift supervisor, the EVS Tech is responsible for daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, lobbies, and other ancillary spaces in the medical center in accordance with Environmental Services infection control practices and regulatory standards. The position provides services to ensure the facility is aesthetically and hygienically clean and acceptable for patients, families, staff, and guests.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and follow oral instructions.
• Must communicate effectively with department staff, hospital employees, physicians, patients, and the public.
• Must be able to work independently using good judgment and common sense.
• Must have good customer/patient relations skills.
• Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals when in use and secure them from public contact.
• Must be able to protect confidential patient information.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma.
• At least two years of housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality.
• At least three years of frontline customer experience.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities
