About The Position

Under the supervision of the EVS shift supervisor, the EVS Tech performs daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, clinics, lobbies, and other ancillary spaces in the medical center in accordance with Environmental Services infection control practices and regulatory standards. The role helps ensure that the facility is aesthetically and hygienically clean and acceptable for patients, families, staff, and guests.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write legibly, understand, and follow oral instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with department staff, hospital employees, physicians, patients, and the public.
• Must be able to work independently using good judgment and common sense.
• Good customer/patient relations skills.
• Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals when in use and secure them from public contact.
• Must be able to protect confidential patient information.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• Minimum two years of housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality preferred.
• Minimum three years of frontline customer experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
