About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician I performs daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. The role involves contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff, including interactions that may be physical, psychological, educational, or safety-related. These interactions should be appropriate to the demographics of patients served in assigned areas. The technician ensures timely room turns to support patient throughput while following basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. In accordance with organizational quality standards, the role contributes to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and patient experience.
Requirements
- Must be able to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of customer service, hospitality, and/or environmental services experience.
