About The Position

The EVS Tech I promotes a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention while meeting quality standards. This role performs routine cleaning tasks and maintains an organized, disinfected environment for employees and visitors. The EVS Tech I also completes room cleans in a timely manner to support hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignments to meet hospital discharge-flow needs.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
• Certificate in Non-Acute Care Cleaning (CNACC) or Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in accordance with quality standards.
• Maintain an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors.
• Complete room cleans in a timely manner to support hospital patient throughput.
