EVS Supervisor - Housekeeping
About The Position
The EVS Supervisor performs housekeeping, laundry, and linen tasks while supervising a staff of 25 or more employees. The role provides leadership and direction, promotes equitable treatment, and builds effective working relationships with department employees, department heads, hospital staff, and the public. The supervisor ensures sanitation and infection-control compliance for patients, guests, and employees, and maintains appropriately sanitized public areas. The role develops relevant policies and procedures, coordinates rental linen and uniform efforts, provides multidisciplinary support services, and participates in employee awareness and education.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions.
