About The Position

The EVS Supervisor oversees housekeeping, laundry, and linen tasks in a hospital setting and supervises a staff of 25 or more employees. The role provides leadership, direction, and equitable treatment for employees while fostering effective working relationships with department employees, department heads, hospital staff, and the public.

The supervisor ensures sanitation and infection-control compliance for patients, guests, and employees, and ensures public areas are appropriately sanitized to project a positive image. The position also develops relevant policies and procedures, coordinates rental linen and uniform efforts, provides multidisciplinary support services, and participates in employee awareness and education.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions.
