About The Position
Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EVS Housekeeper to join its Environmental Services team. The role maintains the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of patient rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces in a healthcare facility. It helps ensure areas meet cleanliness and infection-control standards and support a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push or pull heavy carts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas in accordance with established infection-control and cleaning standards.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using appropriate techniques to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Empty trash cans, replace liners, and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the appropriate laundry facilities.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, and report shortages or issues to the EVS Supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure cleaning equipment functions properly and is maintained in good condition.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
- Respond to special cleaning requests in patient care areas.
- Assist with quality assurance checks by reporting cleanliness concerns or safety hazards to the EVS Supervisor or Manager.
- Comply with healthcare facility policies, state regulations, and infection-prevention protocols.
