Under the direction of the Manager of Public Space, the EVS Floor Attendant maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility. The role includes cleaning floors, walls, and fixtures; disposing of trash; and setting up or moving furniture and pipe-and-drapes. The attendant provides quality customer service to patrons and guests, sometimes working with minimal supervision, and assists departmental personnel with special projects and other assigned duties. The position requires adherence to Seminole Tribe policies and procedures, promoting positive public and employee relations, and maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work area. The job requires standing and walking for most or all of the work time, along with frequent reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, and pushing or pulling carts or equipment. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The casino environment may be hectic, fast-paced, crowded, and noisy, with exposure to secondhand smoke and frequent contact with the general public. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to six months of related experience or training is preferred. Final candidates must obtain gaming licensure through a background check before an offer is extended; checks may include credit and criminal background checks and a drug screen. The company gives hiring preference to qualified members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by qualified members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.
