About The Position

The EVS Custodian maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a medical facility. The role supports patient care by cleaning exam rooms, procedure rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to healthcare standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting.

Pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly. The available shift is Monday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning, Environmental Services (EVS), or custodial/janitorial work.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in surgical, medical, or clinical environments is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of clinical areas, including exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.
• Safely clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to healthcare and infection-control protocols.
• Handle and properly dispose of regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazard materials.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, sanitizing solutions, and PPE.
• Perform floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport them to designated disposal areas.
