About The Position
SoulCycle Studio Crew members bring the “Soul” of SoulCycle by building connections with riders, providing top-tier hospitality, and maintaining operational excellence. They uphold the company’s values and vision while helping create an inclusive, welcoming community and a memorable mind-body-soul experience. This is a part-time role requiring availability on at least three days each week, totaling 20 hours, with at least one Saturday or Sunday available. Employees are also expected to be available for peak holiday shifts. Duties listed are representative and may not include all assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
- A love of the SoulCycle brand.
- An innate love for taking care of people.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Openness to receiving and delivering feedback.
- Ability to complete tasks and perform duties without direction.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Availability on at least three days week over week, totaling 20 hours, including at least one Saturday or Sunday.
- Availability to work peak holiday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Curate personalized rider experiences through high-level customer service and hospitality.
- Build community with riders and anticipate their wants and needs.
- Create a welcoming studio atmosphere where every rider feels at home.
- Support instructors with class check-in.
- Assist in first-aid situations.
- Participate in studio challenges intended to drive paid rides, retail sales, and hospitality.
- Upsell class packs, renewal memberships, retail items, shoes, and water; drive studio goals through intentional selling.
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations.
- Assist Studio Management with daily tasks and projects.
- Support training and coaching of new hires.
- Build interpersonal relationships with staff to promote efficiency and camaraderie.
- Maintain SoulCycle’s studio aesthetics, atmosphere, and culture.
- Clean and prepare bikes, weights, floors, and mirrors.
- Clean common areas, bathrooms, locker areas, the front desk, lockers, retail shelves, office, and hallways.
