About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is hiring a full-time EVS Cleaner (housekeeper) at Jewish Hospital. The position is on the first shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and requires working alternating weekends. The listed pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a shift differential. The role supports a clean, orderly, safe, and healthy facility environment. The cleaner completes assigned housekeeping tasks, maintains janitorial equipment, follows procedures for storing and disposing of items, reports maintenance concerns, helps safeguard company assets, and performs daily tasks for the Metz EVS QA program. Requirements
- Must be able to work alternating weekends.
- Pass the applicable background check and drug screening required for employment at the facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment, focusing on the safety and health of others.
- Complete assigned tasks as directed by management.
- Maintain and clean housekeeping and janitorial equipment.
- Perform the daily tasks of the Metz EVS QA program.
- Follow procedures for storing and disposing of items in designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the security of company assets.
- Help reduce the likelihood of significant disruption of services at the facility.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
