EVS ATTENDANT
About The Position
Happy Valley Casino is seeking motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented EVS Attendants to help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and guest-ready environment for guests and team members. The role performs housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout public areas and back-of-house spaces, helping maintain the casino’s cleanliness, appearance, and presentation standards. Attendants respond to cleaning requests, follow safety and sanitation procedures, assist with special cleaning projects, and contribute to positive guest and team-member interactions. Additional job-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
- Must be able to work any shift, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available for on-call coverage as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
- Casino employees may be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License; the cost of licensure is covered by Happy Valley Casino.

Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout public areas and back-of-house spaces.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors, walls, fixtures, and other assigned areas.
- Empty, collect, and properly dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the property.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in gaming, dining, restroom, hallway, and employee areas.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and service needs.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to help provide a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.
- Promote outstanding guest service and positive interactions with guests and fellow team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
