About The Position

The EVS Aide performs routine manual tasks to clean and care for an assigned area, linen room, and/or waste handling on a daily basis. Cleaning and care duties relate to public offices and assembly areas, patient care and therapy areas, halls, and foyers. The role supports the patient experience and requires communication and cooperation with other departments to help carry out department and hospital goals.

Requirements

• Communication skills, including the ability to speak and understand written and/or oral English.
• Ability to work and cooperate with other departments as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual cleaning and care tasks in assigned areas.
• Clean and care for linen rooms and/or handle waste as assigned.
• Maintain public offices, public assembly areas, patient care areas, therapy areas, halls, and foyers.
• Communicate and cooperate with other departments as needed to support department and hospital goals.
