Events Staff Server (On-Call / As Needed)
About The Position
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Events Staff Server to join a prestigious private members' club located in Washington, DC, serving UHNW clientele. The club offers a refined hospitality and dining experience to its distinguished membership. This is an on-call, as-needed position based on scheduled events and private parties, with a focus on providing attentive, polished, and exceptional service. Hours will vary based on business and event needs, and there is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours. The Events Staff Server supports the successful execution of club events by delivering elevated food and beverage service to members and guests. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining the club's high standards for hospitality and discretion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, private clubs, catering, banquets, or special events; luxury or fine dining experience is preferred.
- Exceptional hospitality, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and maintain professionalism during busy service periods.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment with flexibility to work an on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality and serve food and beverages in accordance with established service standards and event requirements.
- Anticipate member and guest needs, proactively responding to requests in a timely, attentive, and professional manner.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, linens, place settings, service stations, and other event materials.
- Maintain clean, organized, and polished dining, event, and service areas while replenishing food, beverages, glassware, utensils, and supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with managers, culinary staff, bartenders, and fellow event team members to ensure seamless event execution.
