About The Position

TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care. The Transportation Specialist is responsible for transportation of PACE program participants using company-owned vehicles and may be required to transport DME meals or other items as needed. They are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles. Some participant care including transfers, wheelchair mobility and toileting may be required as well as acting as escort for appointments when appropriate.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience driving a company vehicle
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to plan, prioritize and follow-up on/delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving passengers
• Experience working in scheduling data bases
• Experience working with the frail or elderly population
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities
