About The Position

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for the transportation of PACE program participants using company-owned vehicles. This role may also involve transporting DME meals or other items as needed. The specialist is also responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the fleet vehicles. Some participant care, including transfers, wheelchair mobility, and toileting, may be required. Additionally, the role may involve acting as an escort for appointments when appropriate. This is an on-call, as-needed position, picking up days for PTO or call-offs during business hours (8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday).

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience driving a company vehicle.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and follow-up on/delegate responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving passengers.
• Experience working in scheduling databases.
• Experience working with the frail or elderly population.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
