About The Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Events Staff Bartender to join a prestigious private members' club located in Washington, DC, serving UHNW clientele. The club offers a refined hospitality and dining experience to its distinguished membership. This is an on-call, as-needed position based on scheduled events and private parties, with a focus on delivering exceptional beverage service and creating an elevated and memorable guest experience. Hours will vary based on business and event needs, and there is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours.

Position Overview
The Events Staff Bartender supports the successful execution of club events by providing polished, attentive, and professional beverage service. This individual will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining the club's high standards for hospitality, presentation, discretion, and service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, private clubs, catering, banquets, or special events; luxury or fine dining experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service, with excellent hospitality, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced event environment with flexibility to work an on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, service standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by anticipating guest needs and delivering attentive, professional beverage service throughout events.
• Set up, maintain, replenish, and break down event bars, including glassware, spirits, mixers, garnishes, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and polished bar and service areas while following all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with managers, culinary staff, servers, and fellow event team members to ensure seamless event execution and provide additional event support as needed.
