About The Position

Conard House is seeking an Events Manager responsible for planning, coordinating and executing special events for donor cultivation and giving, corporate and foundation giving. This is a new position to develop regular small events, site tours, coordination with the Volunteer Program and the annual fundraise, Rhythms of Resilience. The Events Manager works closely with the Chief of Staff and CEO/Executive Director to ensure successful, cost-effective events that increase engagement and private support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, with nonprofit fundraising, grant management and development a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, program participants, Board members, stakeholders, interns and volunteers.
  • Experience with fundraising databases, aka Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A deep commitment to, understanding and enthusiasm for the mission and values of Conard House.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute in-person events, virtual events and site tours (monthly for each) for the Board of Directors and their networks, donor cultivation, raising awareness, community engagement and fundraising campaigns and meet established goals for revenue, number of new donors and donors prospects.
  • Collaborate on the execution of a 200+ person annual fundraising event, with support from an outside event producer.
  • Develop effective events and donor communications to share stories of residents/clients/CH programs, including on-line campaigns, Conard Bulletin newsletter, website, social media and other opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Conard House Community of residents, clients, staff, volunteers, funders, stakeholders and vendors to manage the participation, attendance and/or sponsorships of in-person events, virtual events and site tours.
  • Effective use of the existing Ambassador Program, Case for Giving and Strategic Roadmap/Business Plan for events to reach prospective donors and support donor cultivation.
  • Collect, Monitor, Track, Reconcile and Report Data in the Fundraising CRM. Includes post-event follow-up and CRM entries.
