Events Coordinator
About The Position
Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an Events Coordinator to assist with the development, planning, and implementation of property promotions and events. This role involves coordinating the execution of events to ensure effective delivery, guest participation, and positive guest response, aligning with property marketing strategies and financial objectives. The coordinator will also work with Marketing Shared Services, interface with property departments, and develop vendor relationships. Additionally, the role requires assisting with marketing channels to advertise events, coordinating property resources, gathering guest photos and releases, and handling guest inquiries and complaints. The position demands high energy, attention to detail, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to work under pressure. A key responsibility includes acting as an emcee for various events.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the development, planning, and implementation of property promotions and events.
- Assist with the planning of the upcoming calendar of promotions and events to achieve property marketing and financial objectives.
- Coordinate the effective execution of property promotions and events to ensure effective delivery, guest participation, and positive guest response.
- Assist with the planning of property promotions and events in conjunction with property marketing strategies and plans.
- Coordinate the effective execution of promotions to optimize participation and guest response.
- Work with Marketing Shared Services to effectively program desired promotions.
- Interface with pertinent property departments to ensure the effective implementation of promotions and events.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with current and potential outside vendors.
- Assist with the use of marketing channels to advertise promotions and events to targeted guests and prospective guests.
- Coordinate property resources to be utilized in the implementation of promotions and events.
- Assist with the gathering of guest photos and signed releases for promotion winners, jackpot winners, etc.
- Acts as emcee for various events in front of large crowds both on and off property.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding promotions and events.
- Other marketing and promotions duties as assigned.
