About The Position

Cincinnati Youth Collaborative empowers young people to overcome obstacles and excel by providing a range of services designed to keep young people in school, prepared for college and career, and on the pathway to success. The Events and Operations Manager plays a key role in the Advancement department, focusing on planning and executing major fundraising events, managing the CRM and fundraising platform, supporting donor engagement, and collaborating on special projects aligned with the organization's strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing events, projects, or initiatives involving multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Greater Cincinnati’s corporate, nonprofit and/or philanthropic community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute major fundraising events, including logistics, venue selection, permitting, contractors, ticket pricing, and auctions.
  • Support event logistics for programmatic events, including venue selection, permitting, and contractors.
  • Assist with the recruitment and supervision of volunteers for special events.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and internal resource for CYC’s CRM and fundraising platform.
  • Maintain accurate and complete donor, sponsor, prospect, and constituent records.
  • Process contributions, pledges, sponsorship commitments, and other philanthropic revenue.
  • Build and maintain campaigns, event pages, registration forms, donation forms, ticketing, and other fundraising tools within the CRM.
  • Prepare fundraising reports, donor and mailing lists, event reports, and campaign data for the Advancement Team and organizational leadership.
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team and other departments on projects aligned with CYC’s strategic plan.
  • Develop project timelines, coordinate stakeholders and deliverables, and monitor progress through completion.
  • Support the Chief Advancement Officer and Advancement Director in donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management activities.
  • Conduct donor and prospect research and prepare relevant briefing materials.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating donor and prospect meetings, including preparation and follow-up.
  • Track donor interactions and activities.
