About The Position

Shootday is seeking event videographers in Minneapolis for paid freelance assignments. Videographers capture memorable moments at a range of events and deliver high-quality raw video footage; Shootday handles editing and project operations. Assignments are paid per assignment, with a stated rate of $40–$50 per hour. Scheduling is flexible: videographers may accept or decline assignments based on availability. Requirements

• Proven event videography experience with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Located in or able to commute to Minneapolis.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as gimbals and high-quality microphones.

Responsibilities

• Capture and deliver high-quality RAW video footage on time.
• Cover events including corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and the atmosphere of each event.
• Adapt videography to each event’s needs.
• Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
• Use professional camera equipment, including cameras, lenses, gimbals, and high-quality microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for the best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
