About The Position

Shootday is seeking event videographers located in or able to commute to Indianapolis for paid freelance assignments. Videographers capture memorable moments at a variety of events and deliver high-quality raw video footage; Shootday handles editing, project operations, logistics, and client communication. Assignments are paid per assignment, with a stated rate of $40–$50 per hour. Scheduling is flexible, and videographers may accept or decline assignments based on their availability. The role offers opportunities to work with a range of clients and events, with support from the Shootday team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography and a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and at different event types.
• Reliable transportation to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Be located in or able to commute to Indianapolis.
• Have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as gimbals and high-quality microphones.

Responsibilities

• Capture and deliver high-quality RAW video footage on time.
