About The Position

Shootday is seeking talented event videographers located in or able to commute to New York for paid freelance assignments. Videographers capture memorable moments at a variety of events and deliver high-quality raw video footage that tells compelling visual stories; Shootday handles editing. Assignments may cover corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings. The role offers control over scheduling, with videographers choosing whether to accept assignments based on their availability. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to reach event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• Ability to work well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.
• Located in or able to commute to New York.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Own and maintain videography gear, such as video stabilizers (gimbals) and high-quality microphones.
• Submit a portfolio and a brief introduction when applying.

Responsibilities

• Capture and deliver high-quality raw video footage on time.
