About The Position

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring seasonal Event Staff for the holiday season. Event Staff support event-day preparation and execution at venues, welcoming and assisting guests while helping maintain safe, orderly and well-functioning designated areas. Duties include collecting or scanning tickets, checking wristbands and badges, directing venue traffic, providing guests with directions and suggestions, and maintaining a friendly, professional presence. The role offers flexible part-time scheduling and weekly pay.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver’s record check may also be required.
Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage appropriate venue entry by collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, and directing traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of interactions.
Provide helpful directions and suggestions to enhance guests’ entertainment experience.
Direct foot traffic and help ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency and maintenance of designated areas.
Communicate with guests using a natural speaking voice, friendly tone and appropriate inflection.
