About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring part-time seasonal Event Staff for hockey games in Colorado Springs. Event Staff support event-day preparation and execution by assisting with venue entry, collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, directing traffic, and welcoming and ushering guests. Team members provide helpful directions and customer service while helping maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of assigned areas. The role offers flexible scheduling around availability and is paid weekly at $18.45 per hour for all events worked.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage appropriate venue entry, including collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner at entrances, aisles, concourses, or other assigned locations, and thank them after interactions.
Provide guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
Help ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas.
