About The Position

Green Valley Grill is seeking friendly, energetic Event Set Up individuals to join its team of restaurant professionals and help provide outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The role supports events by preparing spaces to match event diagrams and guest requests, helping service teams get ready, and maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized event spaces. The position calls for flexibility and a sense of urgency as event needs change.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service and help ensure each guest has a delightful experience.
Anticipate guest needs and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
Set up event spaces according to event diagrams, including tables, chairs, tableware, flowers, A/V, food, beverages, and other requested items.
Maintain thorough knowledge of A/V systems and equipment.
Break down events after guests have left, store A/V equipment properly, and clean the event space.
Collaborate with event leadership to prepare service teams for success.
Adapt to event needs with flexibility and a sense of urgency.
Follow systems, procedures, and safety practices when moving tables, chairs, stages, and lighting.
Communicate clearly with guests and fellow staff members.
Establish and maintain trusting relationships with guests.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety.
