About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant to support events at its hospitality properties. The role involves preparing indoor and outdoor meeting and dining spaces according to diagrams, setting up event equipment and food-and-beverage areas, and assisting servers during events. The attendant also helps maintain cleanliness in public areas and contributes to efficient event setup through teamwork. Flexible hours and shifts are required.

Requirements

High school education.
At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Team-player approach.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

Read and execute meeting and dining room diagrams for indoor and outdoor spaces.
Physically set up and arrange tables, audiovisual equipment, and other equipment according to diagrams.
Assist with setting and breaking down buffet tables and bars during and after events.
Assist with setting rooms with food-and-beverage equipment.
Arrange buffets, stages, and podiums.
Help servers by arranging plates, running items to bars, and setting up beverage stations.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, parking lots, smoking areas, and public restrooms.
Assist servers with bussing tables.
Work as a team and demonstrate leadership to ensure events are set up efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
