About The Position

Joyce Factory Direct is seeking an Event Marketing Manager to establish and grow the company’s presence in the Piedmont Triad. This hands-on, field-based leadership role develops event marketing strategy, builds community and venue relationships, leads an event team, and generates leads and appointments. The manager also identifies and secures new events and partnerships to expand Joyce’s local presence. Compensation includes a $55,000 base salary, expected first-year earnings of $65,000–$70,000 or more through uncapped bonuses, a $500 monthly car allowance, and a $100 monthly phone allowance. The role includes travel throughout the Piedmont Triad and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require.

Requirements

2–5+ years of experience in event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead generation.
Strong communication skills and confidence approaching new people.
Willingness to travel throughout the Piedmont Triad market.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and build a market from the ground up.
Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment.
