About The Position

Joyce Factory Direct is expanding into the Piedmont Triad and is hiring an Event Marketing Manager to build its presence in the market. This hands-on, field-based leadership role is responsible for establishing event marketing strategy, developing community relationships, leading a team, and generating leads. The manager will engage homeowners, set appointments, oversee event execution, manage venue relationships, and identify and secure new events and partnerships to grow the local market.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, or lead generation.
• Strong communication skills and confidence approaching new people.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Piedmont Triad market.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events require.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and build a market from the ground up.
• Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and set appointments with homeowners at events.
• Engage event attendees and create interest in Joyce products.
• Coach and motivate team members on-site to improve results.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing event marketing team.
• Manage relationships with event venues, coordinators, and partners.
• Identify new partnerships, improve event performance, and expand Joyce's local presence.
• Support event setup and teardown.
• Meet or exceed lead generation and appointment targets.
