EVENT DISPATCHER-WEEKEND/EVENINGS/PART-TIME ONLY
About The Position
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates with a background in emergency dispatching, whether from traditional public agencies (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS) or from private-sector roles supporting public safety and critical operations. As a Dispatcher in our Event Operations Center, you will be responsible for coordinating and deploying security personnel, receiving and triaging calls, monitoring alarms, surveillance systems, and other detection technologies, and ensuring timely, accurate responses to incidents. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring real-world dispatch or coordination experience from either public or private sector emergency operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education requirement; High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum (2) years of professional security experience or (2) years of military experience or (2) years post high school academic training in related field
- Communication: Clear, calm, and effective verbal and written skills for relaying instructions and documenting events.
- Problem-solving: Ability to assess evolving situations and dispatch appropriate resources efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate log keeping and procedural adherence are essential.
- Time Management: Stay organized and prioritize under pressure, especially during peak activity.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with dispatch software, alarm monitoring systems, radios, and CCTV platforms.

- Experience in private ambulance dispatch
- Experience in security command posts or control centers
- Experience in private weather monitoring centers
- Experience in critical infrastructure dispatch (utilities, transit, etc.)
- Experience in hospital-to-ambulance radio coordination
- Experience in public works operations centers
- Experience in armored car/logistics dispatch
- Experience in special event command and radio coordination
- Experience in public assembly facilities (stadiums, arenas) with PA and radio comms
- Experience with Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)
- Experience in municipal emergency management support roles
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deploy security personnel
