About The Position

This is an on-call contractor position focused on event support and execution, space readiness, and maintaining hospitality standards. The role involves providing day-of operational support for events and meetings in various Class A office building venues, including conference rooms and outdoor patio areas. Responsibilities include supporting pre-event setup and post-event tear down, ensuring venues meet hospitality and presentation standards, coordinating with vendors, welcoming guests, and assisting with seamless onsite experiences. The Event Coordinator will also support seamless event execution by coordinating with catering, décor, music, janitorial, security, and other operational partners.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in venue operations, hospitality, events management, or premium guest-facing environments (e.g., hotels, conference centers, event venues, workplace hospitality).
  • Hands-on experience with event execution and day-of operations, including troubleshooting issues and adapting quickly when plans change.
  • Proven experience delivering five-star service in high-volume or high-touch environments.
  • Adaptable and confident learning new systems for membership and program management.
  • Creative and solutions-oriented, with an eye for presentation and the ability to identify thoughtful ways to elevate spaces, events, and the overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-of operational support for events and meetings held across a variety of Class A office building venues, including conference rooms and outdoor patio areas.
  • Support pre-event setup and post-event tear down, including space configurations, furniture placement, décor setup, and operational walkthroughs to ensure all venues consistently meet hospitality and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in, and help create a seamless onsite experience throughout events and reservations.
  • Support seamless event execution through real-time coordination with catering, décor, music, janitorial, security, and additional operational partners throughout the event lifecycle.
