About The Position

The Evening Food and Beverage Host supports Drury Hotels’ complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback by preparing and serving food, assisting guests, and maintaining clean, organized kitchen and lobby areas. The role helps provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and delivers courteous, friendly service to guests and team members.

The host also maintains food safety standards, keeps supplies stocked, conducts food inventory and helps determine order levels, and answers guest questions about the hotel, local community, and events. The position is at the Drury Plaza Hotel at 88 East Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and hotel services.
• Ability to accurately inventory food items and calculate order levels.
• Warm, friendly communication style that helps create a happy, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
• Ability to speak and understand written and verbal directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 5:30 p.m. Kickback, including food preparation and clean-up.
• Help ensure exceptional, positive experiences for team members and guests.
• Keep the kitchen and lobby clean and well organized.
• Meet food safety standards and maintain appropriate supply levels.
• Represent Drury’s culture through integrity, service, and hospitality.
• Answer guest questions about the hotel, local area, and events.
• Provide courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
