About The Position

The Evening Food and Beverage Host oversees the hotel's complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback, helping ensure a positive experience for guests. The role includes preparing food, cleaning up, keeping the kitchen and lobby clean and organized, and ensuring food safety standards are met and supplies are stocked. The host provides courteous, friendly service, answers guest questions about the hotel, local area, and events, and promotes Drury's service culture to guests and co-workers.

Requirements

• Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and hotel services.
• Ability to conduct accurate food-item inventory and calculate order levels.
• Warm, friendly communication with guests and ability to create a happy, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
• Ability to speak and receive written and verbal directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 5:30 p.m. Kickback, including food preparation and clean-up.
• Keep the kitchen and lobby clean and well organized.
• Ensure food safety standards are met and supplies are stocked at appropriate levels.
• Provide courteous, friendly guest service and promote a positive guest experience.
• Maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality with customers and co-workers.
• Answer guest questions about the hotel, the local area, and events.
