About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a Diesel/EV Technician in El Monte, California, to maintain and repair medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting safety and compliance inspections, documenting repairs, and supporting fleet operations. Work takes place in a mobile and/or shop environment, with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, oils, and greases. The position pays $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay every Friday. Full benefits begin within 30 days. The schedule is described as “Day to day Time to Time.”

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including a drug screen and DOT physical if required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and access tight spaces, and to bend, stoop, crouch, or crawl as needed to complete repairs.

Responsibilities
