EUS Manager

PIMCO•Austin, TX

About The Position

PIMCO is seeking a practical manager to lead the End User Services (EUS) technical team responsible for Citrix, desktop, virtual compute, and Nutanix-aligned services. This is a leadership role, not a hands-on engineering position. The manager will guide technical resources, drive execution, improve operational discipline, and ensure reliable service delivery in a global enterprise environment. The successful candidate will lead skilled engineers, translate business priorities into actionable work, set clear expectations, and hold the team accountable for outcomes. The role requires sufficient technical depth to understand the platforms, ask informed questions, validate direction, and make effective decisions, while relying on subject-matter experts for detailed engineering execution. Success means clear priorities and ownership, steady progress, early risk escalation, improved service reliability, and engineers who are coached to deliver independently. PIMCO describes itself as a global asset management firm with more than 3,000 employees across 20 offices in 15 countries. Its culture emphasizes collaboration, diversity, continuous learning, career mobility, knowledge sharing, and impactful technology solutions.
