About The Position
The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking teachers to oversee the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ESY program serves students aged 3-22 and runs from July 7 - August 6, 2026, Monday through Thursday. Educators will be compensated for up to 30 hours of non-teaching time, including orientation, open house, and preparation. The compensation for this assignment is $40 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Identify eligible students for programs
- Collect data regarding IEP services
- Recruit and select staff for ESY programs
- Confirm program needs (space, supplies, staffing, etc.)
- Meet with staff regarding responsibilities
- Manage payroll time-sheets throughout the program
- Meet regularly with the Director of Student Services regarding program planning and execution
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
