About The Position
A1 Mechanical is currently looking for a Sales/Estimating Team Member. This position is an entry-level role where the candidate can learn vital parts of the Sales/Estimating process and create career growth potential. We provide HVAC Repair, Replacement, and Installation services in both residential and commercial environments. The qualified candidate will perform clerical and administrative functions to drive company success. This is a full-time position working with our residential new construction sales and estimating.

Responsibilities
- Preparation of bids, estimates, and budgets on residential new construction and multi-family construction projects.
- Review construction documents and understand the scope of work to bid.
- Read and understand salesmen notes and specifications to confirm proper paperwork is created.
- Provide necessary support to other team members to complete tasks on time.
- Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with superiors, co-workers, builders, and inspectors.
- Visit construction sites and observe methods of construction to gain additional insight that will assist in accurately estimating jobs.
- Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, etc.
- Review all estimates with Group Leader or Project Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
- Utilize standard formats for completing the estimates.
- Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back up estimate figures.
- File all incoming vendor quotes and subcontractor quotes in the job folder.
- Track estimates for status.
- Maintain a bid sheet with all pertinent information.
- Attend departmental meetings as required.
- Regular in-person attendance.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
