About The Position
The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, is seeking an on-call Esthetician for its luxury Spa team. The Esthetician provides personalized skincare services and creates a relaxing, elevated guest experience through technical expertise, product knowledge, attention to detail, and thoughtful hospitality. The ideal candidate has professional skincare-treatment experience in a luxury spa, resort, or hospitality environment and is skilled at building genuine guest connections. The role includes providing facial and skincare treatments, consulting with guests, recommending treatments and products, and maintaining treatment rooms and inventory. The Esthetician follows sanitation and safety standards, protects guest privacy, supports spa operations and team members, and delivers Forbes Travel Guide service standards and Marriott luxury brand expectations. The position also includes ongoing product education, service training, and professional development.
Requirements
- Current and valid Tennessee Esthetician License.
- Knowledge of professional skincare treatments, techniques, products, and ingredients.
- Strong consultation, communication, and guest-service skills.
- Ability to confidently recommend and sell appropriate skincare and retail products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Professional, polished, warm, and service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a luxury spa team.
- Ability to maintain discretion and protect guest privacy.
- Dependable and punctual, with commitment to consistently exceptional service.
- Availability for a flexible part-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive hand and arm movements, bend, reach, lift, and move supplies and equipment, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional facial and skincare treatments according to spa protocols and service standards.
- Consult with guests about their skincare needs, concerns, preferences, and desired results.
- Recommend appropriate treatments, enhancements, products, and home-care routines.
- Deliver a personalized and luxurious guest experience throughout each service.
- Maintain knowledge of spa treatments, skincare products, ingredients, benefits, and retail offerings.
- Educate guests about skincare products and make thoughtful retail recommendations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and keep them clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
- Follow sanitation, safety, hygiene, and infection-control standards.
- Maintain accurate guest information and treatment notes as required.
- Assist with product and treatment-room inventory.
- Support spa operations and team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism and discretion.
- Deliver Forbes Travel Guide service standards and Marriott luxury brand expectations.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide warm, intuitive, personalized service.
- Participate in product education, service training, and professional development.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with The Joseph's luxury standards.
- Perform additional duties assigned by Spa leadership.
