About The Position
Easterseals Florida is hiring an Exceptional Student Education Teacher Assistant for The School for Limitless Learning for the 2025–2026 school year. The school uses a play-based curriculum and an inclusive approach for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities. The position supports a nurturing, stimulating learning environment and is full-time during the school year, working 37.5 hours per week. Salary is $18.00 per hour. Requirements
- A Florida Staff Credential: Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework (preferred, not required).
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment.
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Provide constant supervision to ensure each child's safety and well-being within the learning center.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote a positive, cohesive team environment.
- Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs.
