About The Position
Easterseals Florida is hiring an Exceptional Student Education Teacher Assistant for The School for Limitless Learning for the 2026–2027 school year. The private school uses a play-based curriculum and an inclusive approach for children who are neurodiverse or have related disabilities. The assistant supports a nurturing, stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment throughout the school year. This is a full-time school-year position, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of $18.00 per hour. Requirements
- Hold a Florida Staff Credential, such as an FCCPC, ECPC, CDA/NECC, or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
- Have current CPR and First Aid certification.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework (preferred, not required).
- Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Provide constant supervision to ensure each child's safety and well-being within the learning center.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote a positive, cohesive team environment.
- Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs.
