About The Position

Link Title is seeking an experienced, licensed Utah Escrow Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced escrow professional looking for a flexible schedule while continuing to utilize their expertise in residential real estate closings. You'll be responsible for managing escrow transactions from opening through funding and disbursement, ensuring every closing is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. Due to Utah licensing requirements, candidates must hold an active Utah Escrow Officer License and may only be affiliated with a maximum of two companies.

Requirements

  • Active Utah Escrow Officer License in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of combined title examination and escrow closing experience.
  • Experience handling residential real estate transactions from opening through closing.
  • Strong knowledge of escrow funding, settlement statements, and trust account management.
  • Ability to meet Utah licensing affiliation requirements (maximum of two company affiliations).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with lenders and mortgage servicers.
  • Experience in multi-state title operations.
  • Familiarity with title production and escrow software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential escrow transactions from file opening through closing.
  • Prepare and review settlement statements for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, title staff, and other parties to facilitate successful closings.
  • Process escrow disbursements, wire transfers, and trust account transactions.
  • Ensure all funding conditions and closing requirements have been satisfied prior to disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate transaction files and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with escrow account reconciliations and audit requests.
  • Follow all federal, state, and company compliance requirements.
  • Adhere to fraud prevention procedures, including wire verification protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
