The Escrow Officer establishes new escrow accounts and manages transactions from start to finish while providing friendly customer service. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in escrow, real estate, or lending.
Ability to type 40 or more words per minute.
Current Arizona Notary Commission Certificate, or ability to obtain one.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of escrow practices and terminology.
Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Impact.
Proficiency using a 10-key calculator.
Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

Establish new escrow accounts and manage the entire transaction process.
Complete escrow transactions by assessing and resolving requirements, preparing and reviewing closing documents, and disbursing funds.
Collaborate with the title department to resolve title issues.
Communicate with transaction parties to obtain necessary information, explain procedures, and answer questions.
Conduct closing appointments and explain documents to customers.
Notarize documents as required by law.
Set monthly goals to maintain or increase business volume.
Perform additional tasks in support of department goals.
