About The Position

A national title insurance company based in Glendale is seeking a temporary Escrow Assistant to support daily escrow operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position focuses on residential resale transactions and requires hands-on proficiency with the ResWare operating system. The Escrow Assistant supports transactions from opening through closing, helps maintain accurate files, coordinates updates among transaction participants, and provides administrative and pre-closing/post-closing support.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Escrow Assistant with proven expertise in residential resale transactions.
• Hands-on experience using the ResWare operating system.
• Strong familiarity with escrow documentation, closing procedures, and standard real estate terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the escrow team in managing and processing real estate transactions from opening to closing, with a strong focus on resale files.
• Use ResWare to set up new orders, enter transaction data, track milestones, and manage workflow tasks.
• Prepare, organize, and review escrow documents, closing statements, title commitments, and contract amendments.
• Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and escrow officers, providing clear and timely updates.
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date digital and physical escrow files.
• Perform administrative and pre-closing/post-closing support tasks, including document retrieval, scheduling, and file archiving.
