About The Position

High Transit LLC is seeking qualified part-time drivers to escort oversized and overweight loads in a manner that promotes public safety. Escort Drivers work as part of the Escort Fleet, escorting Wide Haul or Heavy Haul loads to job sites at various points around the Mid-Atlantic region. The role requires operating a manual pickup truck to escort a tractor-trailer. The position is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is described as casual work for up to two to three days per week. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Pass the New York Certification Program.
• Pass the Virginia Certification Program.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
