About The Position

High Transit LLC is seeking qualified part-time drivers to escort oversized and overweight loads while promoting public safety. Escort Drivers work as part of the Escort Fleet, accompanying Wide Haul or Heavy Haul loads to job sites at various locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The role requires operating a manual pickup truck to escort a tractor-trailer. The position is based at High Transit Group in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is intended for candidates seeking casual work of up to 2–3 days per week. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Pass the New York Certification Program.
• Pass the Virginia Certification Program.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
