About The Position

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS), District Integrated Financial System (DIFS) Support Center. The incumbent plans, designs, documents, and implements policies and procedures for quarterly updates and patches for Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EPM. The role includes gathering and documenting business requirements; analyzing enhancement requests; conducting fit-gap analysis and designing current and future business processes; supporting prototyping, system configuration, testing, and end-user training; assessing internal controls; and troubleshooting production issues. Other related duties may be assigned. The appointment is permanent, with promotion potential to DS-13. The position works in an office environment.

Requirements

• Four years of progressive work experience performing related duties and responsibilities in a financial or operational capacity.
• Experience analyzing financial systems and business processes.
• Experience providing day-to-day operational support to system users.
• Experience participating on project teams to plan, design, or test system enhancements and implementations.
• Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with or supporting Oracle Projects and Accounts Receivables (AR) modules.
• A solid business-user understanding of how project costs, customer billing, and/or related transactions operate.
• Specialized experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties successfully, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Grants Management.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

Responsibilities
